Marshawn Terrell Lynch is an American football running back who is a free agent. Nicknamed "Beast Mode" for his powerful running style and consistent ability to run over defenders and break tackles, he has played in the National Football League for 12 seasons, primarily with the Seattle Seahawks. Lynch played college football at the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned All-American honors and became the school's second all-time career rusher. He was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft, whom he was a member of for three full seasons until he joined Seattle during the 2010 season.
